nfotex IT DL GmbH is an Austrian company working mostly on telecommunication projects. We are specialized in billing systems, mediation services and realtime monitoring and statistics.

Our projects are done mainly in Perl and other scripting languages so as to optimize deployment times in reaction to rapidly changing market demands. Performance critical parts are written in C / C++ and we support interoperability with other programming environments for our software and services.

We are specialized to work with open source products (Apache, MySql, Linux,...), standard interfaces and protocols (XML, HTML, SOAP, ...) but also employ and use proprietary software and protocols for both general purpose and telecommunications specific software.

Customers of nfotex are several telecommunications providers in central and eastern Europe and in Asia.

We are longtime supporters of the Perl community. For example in 2007 we were sponsor of the YAPC::Europe by invitating Larry Wall to Vienna.

Currently we have jobs to offer.

We are looking for people who want to work in projects as described above. The applicants should live in or be willing to move to Vienna so as to allow direct customer contact. German should be the first language, and the applicant should be fluent in English in both speaking and writing.
